Atelier NŌUA is an artist-driven studio and arena for the dissemination of photography as contemporary art in Bodø, Norway, founded by the artists Marianne Bjørnmyr and Dan Mariner in 2017. NŌUA also houses the artists own production unit, consisting of research rooms, analogue darkroom, digital darkroom, construction spaces and a framing workshop.

Made By NŌUA offers a variety of framing services to artists, galleries and private collectors. Our specialty lies in photography and works on paper, where each frame is handmade to the highest possible standard by combining traditional joinery and woodworking techniques with modern equipment to give you a bespoke and modern approach to the framing process. As practicing artists, we understand the importance of finding the most suitable display solutions for each piece of art.

NŌUA arranges an annual public program in Bodø around Photography as Contemporary Art, and its dessemination for the audience. The program includes talks, seminars, exhibitions, photobook cafés as more. See full program on noua.no
